NUTRITION: Each Saturday children will be loaned a backpack from The Center Peace to take home. It will contain food items such as canned meat, canned vegetables, snacks and juice boxes. The food is free, but the children should return the empty backpack to The Center Peace the next Saturday to receive another full backpack. If the backpack is not returned, the child will be given a few food items in a paper sack and a reminder note. If your child still does not return the backpack, he or she will just receive the reminder note.

READING: Along with the food, each child will receive a book in the backpack.

Please share the reading of this book with your child, by having your child read

the book to you or your reading the book to your child.

We want to help your child build a home library.

FUN: Each Saturday from 10 to 11 AM we will have a fun hour of doing an art project,

making something, reading and having snacks.

Once a month we will have a special activity, event or guest.
